The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, commented on the meeting of the Electoral Reform Commission that took place online today.
Basha commented on the developments regarding the Electoral Reform, saying that the physical meeting of the Commission was made impossible by "the theater directed by Edi Rama".
He said that the debate this week was "Enkelejd go, Oerd come on", which according to him is not in the interest of the public.
"The theater directed by Edi Rama prevented the physical meeting of the Electoral Reform Commission. My call is to leave the alibis and enable the normal functioning of this commission. We need equality of votes. Whoever gets the most votes becomes a deputy. Electronic voting and counting and diaspora vote. The debate this week has been ik Enkelejd, come Oerd. This is in the interest of those who do not want this. There is no thought of the public interest. We should not waste time squabbling over petty interests. On Thursday, hundreds and thousands of Albanian families were harmed by the voting of 11 laws through the mess", said Basha.
