Reestablishment has reacted after the violence against Sali Berisha's lawyer. Reestablishment has called this event a criminal act, stressing that it is Edi Rama's revenge.
The grouping of the Democratic Party has strongly condemned this act, stressing that Rama will be held responsible.
"This morning, three thugs, ordered by Edi Rama, attacked and hit Professor Sokol Mêngjesin, the well-known lawyer of the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in the head with levers in the center of Tirana.
This is a criminal act and blind, primitive revenge of Edi Rama against Professor Sokol Mêngjesi, because he, together with his colleagues, proved to the Albanians with irrefutable evidence and official documents, that the judicial process against the chairman of the Democratic Party is a process political leader based on a fraud pyramid, such as the case of Partizani Sports Club.
By beating Professor Mangjesi with thugs, on his direct order, and causing him serious injuries, Edi Rama testifies to the fear and panic he experiences from his criminal political acts.
He believes that with violence he will be able to intimidate the voice of truth and hide his political crimes.
On this occasion, on behalf of the Democratic Party, I condemn with the greatest severity this criminal act of banditry against Professor Sokol Mêngjesi and declare today that Edi Rama, he and only he, will be held personally responsible for this ugly criminal act", it is stated in the declaration of Reestablishment.
