Prime Minister Edi Rama appeared in today's parliamentary session to present the draft budget for 2025.
Edi Rama was hindered by members of the opposition, while he started his speech in the pulpit. Democrat Asllan Dogjani went to the podium of the Prime Minister.
This action seems to have angered Rama, who after a 5-minute interruption of the plenary session, demanded that the shouting and physical abuse be sanctioned by a vote.
"After the interruption of the speech, whoever took the floor must be answered by voting, this type of practice cannot be legalized and continue, Parliament is the place where everyone says what they think, the physical displacement from the chairs to the speakers and the screams from the country should be sanctioned by voting" , said the Prime Minister.
