Dumani gives Berisha a "visa", the DP leader flies to Germany on

Altin Dumani, head of SPAK, has given Sali Berisha permission to travel outside Albania.

Democratic leader Sali Berisha will travel to Germany on February 3, which is the first Monday when he must appear before the SPAK, based on the decision given by the Appeals Court of Kosovo.

The defense lawyers of the former Prime Minister, who is officially a defendant in the 'Partizani' case, have submitted a request to SPAK to allow the democratic leader to travel to Germany. The request was submitted about 1 week ago, while SPAK has today approved the right of the former Prime Minister and democratic leader to travel to the European country.

As it is learned, Berisha has an invitation from the CDU to travel to Germany where he will have meetings with officials of this party. The CDU invitation was presented to SPAK by Berisha's lawyers, while the Special Prosecution Office seems to have approved the trip of the democratic leader.

The CDU is the party leading the polls for the snap parliamentary elections to be held in Germany on February 23.

Based on the GJKKO Appeals decision, Berisha must appear before SPAK on the first and third Monday of each month, while GJKKO has not yet made a decision on what will happen with the Partizani file, whether it will go to trial, be returned to SPAK for further investigations, or be closed.

Berisha's lawyers have requested that the case be closed because, according to them, there is no evidence or facts, while SPAK has requested that it be sent to trial. Berisha is accused of corruption, while in the Partizani file, his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, is also a defendant. / Pamphlet /
