Today, all central and local officials have chosen the churches in their city to wish believers a Merry Christmas.
After each visit, they also conveyed a message to the media for all citizens.
But for the prefect of Shkodra, Holta Duda, the statement to journalists did not go as she expected.
Apparently, she did not know that her visit and speech were broadcast live in the media.
"Today we all gather together to celebrate the birth of Christ, just as the star shone in the hearts of all peoples in the holy land that night when the baby Christ was born, so do I today on behalf of all....please forgive me once again..." said the local official, who, amidst emotions, renewed her congratulations to the believers once again.
Alongside Prefect Holda Duda was also the socialist MP for the Shkodër district, Marjana Koçeku.
