Turkey's Communications Directorate announced that President Erdoğan, during the phone call, praised its friendship and dialogue with Albania, stating that cooperation between the two countries will continue to strengthen in the coming period , the announcement states.
It is further said that there was also talk about the summit to be held next week in Tirana, as well as the elections.
“ Emphasizing that the organization of the European Political Community and the South East European Cooperation Process summits in Albania is a testament to Albania's growing international profile, Erdoğan expressed his wishes for success. The Turkish President also expressed his wishes for the parliamentary elections to be held in Albania tomorrow to be successful ,” the statement said.
