Edi Rama for the high prices in the south: the people of Vlonia have lost both

The people of Vlonia have run out of money, their brains have run out of the country and they don't know what they are doing anymore...

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a meeting with the mayors, said that the increase in prices in the south is suicide.

In a meeting with the country's mayors, Rama mentioned Vlora and Saranda as the two regions where price increases in the tourist season are significant.

Rama has asked the mayors of these two cities to talk to the tourist operators and explain to them the consequences of this wrong strategy, which, according to Rama, will lead to business suicide.

Rama mentioned Vlora as the region most abusing the increase in prices, and called on businesses to reflect. He further said that the people of Vlonia have lost their minds, they have lost their brains and they don't know what they are doing anymore.

"The Bulgarians fall into the pit of their chest. But it is shameful to create an absurd climate when we have just entered the Mediterranean Champions League... Bulgaria made this sport and for years, it could not return to the way it was. The eyes don't say anything better than the people, the people of Vlonia have lost their minds, and they don't know what they are doing anymore. Maybe that's how they go down to the ground, or at least to the second floor." Rama said.

"All this needs to be taken into consideration for something else, the government and municipalities do not set the prices. This is the system we have chosen. They cannot set the prices of hotels or restaurants, nor can they impose them.

But in Vlora, in Saranda, where there are two points of an absurd increase in prices, it is very important to talk to the hotel operators, and to tell you that this is not only unfair, but strategically suicide for them. It needs to be communicated and talked about that the illogical increase in prices comes at a very high cost next year. If it were so easy, the whole world would have played this sport. They have done it in certain parts, but they have received bitter lessons back. It is important to communicate that prices are reasonable. No one can impose it on them. But it is also a matter of knowledge.

Look at Durrës, Shengjin, Velipoja, stables. And of course, the Volynites are the apple of this quarrel. That work is known. Because now Vlora has become so sought-after, the hole in the chest of the Vlora people has opened and it has become a pit where those who raise those prices in that beacon of religion will fall.

It is unfair and shameful to create an absurd climate at this moment to start stuttering. Bulgaria did this sport years ago and paid for it for years and never returned to where it was. The eye is better than the nose. The people of Vlonia have lost both their eyes and their taste, they have also lost their brains to those who own those hotels and don't know what they are doing anymore, so it is good that they understand, they will come down a little bit with their feet on the ground", said Rama.

The Prime Minister also stated that there is an organized attack to damage Albanian tourism. Rama said that Kosovo has not abandoned us, as 1.7 million citizens from Kosovo have come to Albania. According to the head of the government, the flow of tourists has increased by 86 percent. Also, Rama had a message for the tourist hotel operators, saying that they should review the prices in the hotels.

"I want to take advantage of the opportunity, since not only a part of the main municipalities in terms of tourism are present here, but also others. The tendency of tourist flows to go beyond the sea and explore other points, it is very important to be aware, there is an organized attack to damage tourism. I have spoken with the mayors, they have been scandalized by many fake news videos and manipulated comments.

The facts are on the ground. Our security systems have red-lighted cyber security fake profiles being used for this attack. This is one side of the coin that counts, what years ago was the flowering of Albanian tourism in the eyes of the world, came with new complex challenges that have to do with all the elements. This year, in fact, a few days ago, the European Travel Commission issued a classification and Albania is in first place with an 86% increase.

Low effort that the Kosovar Albanians have abandoned Albania. The fact is that from January to June there are 1.7 million citizens of Kosovo who entered Albania, or 25% more than last year. There is a very strong increase in Turkish and Polish tourists. To land a charter at Tirana Airport, you must book three days in advance. At the Tirana airport, intensive work has begun for the expansion of runways and spaces," said Rama.
