Edi Rama on the wrong side again, like Farage he is gaining formidable ground in
Farage-Rama

The leader of "Reform UK" is becoming a political factor after the electoral "earthquake" in England, while Edi Rama has long been involved in a public clash with him. A story that resembles that of Donald Trump...

The nationalist Reform UK party, led by Nigel Farage, is experiencing strong growth in the UK, shaking up the British political scene and inflicting deep losses on Keir Starmer's Labour and the Conservatives.

The results of the local elections in England show a significant advance in the political strength of Farage, who has won hundreds of seats in local councils, while the two traditional parties have suffered heavy losses. The British media have described the result as a "political earthquake", which returns to the center of British politics the controversial figure of Farage, the main architect of Brexit.

But while Farage is gaining ground in Britain, in Albania his name has long been associated with public clashes with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Farage has repeatedly attacked Rama over the issue of Albanian immigration and crime in Britain. In an interview with GB News, the Reform UK leader stated that “1 in 50 Albanians in Britain is in prison,” while demanding that Albania “take back Albanian criminals.”

The statements came after Rama criticized post-Brexit Britain and its immigration policies, saying the country had entered "a very dark place" and was looking for places to "abandon immigrants."

The Albanian Prime Minister responded to Farage by calling the claim about Albanians in prisons "nonsense" and accused British politics of using Albanian immigration as propaganda for Brexit.

But Farage's rise in Britain is also reigniting the debate over how Edi Rama often positions himself towards international political figures who then gain power or influence.

A similar situation occurred with Donald Trump. During his first run for president in the US, Rama publicly attacked Trump, taking strong stances against him. But after Trump won the election and took over the White House, the Albanian prime minister completely changed his tone, avoiding clashes and being cautious in relation to the American administration.

Rama's critics say the prime minister "talks with his mouth before his mind," often entering international political battles without considering subsequent developments. According to them, the story with Trump could be repeated with Farage, if the leader of "Reform UK" continues his political ascent and becomes a decisive factor in British governance.

Meanwhile, the local election results are being seen as a wake-up call for Keir Starmer's government, while Nigel Farage is making a strong comeback at the center of British politics, capitalizing on discontent over immigration, the economy, and the consequences of Brexit. / Pamphlet
