Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Israel, where he is expected to meet with the country's leaders.
He will also honor the fallen of the terror of October 7. Rama has expressed that it is always a pleasure to be in Israel.
This visit to Israel by Rama comes at a time when the country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been isolated on the international stage.
Israeli media reports that Rama was in Jerusalem's Old City this morning to visit the Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. He is scheduled to meet privately with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today.
"Time of Israel" writes that "Albania, which is about 50% Muslim, is one of Israel's closest allies in Europe."
Rama will also be received at the Israeli Parliament and will also meet with the Speaker of the Israeli Parliament, Amir Ohana.
A special session will be held in the Knesset, which will include speeches from Rama, Netanyahu, Ohana and opposition leader Yair Lapid.
