The deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, has stated that emigration is having more effects on the economy than ever before.
Tabaku made the comments in "Euroneas Albania" where he commented on the main issues that concern citizens in Albania.
The democratic MP also emphasized that corruption, unemployment and high prices are the factors that have led to the mass emigration of Albanians.
"If we can start from a graph before that compared the concerns of 2021 and 2024, the way I see it, here I see the cause and there the effect. The reasons for emigration come from the economy, unemployment, corruption", said Tabaku.
Tabaku emphasized that according to her, corruption remains the main concern, which affects Albania's development.
"High prices, living costs are concerns in the economy group. Emigration is divided into two main elements, leaving the family and the impact on the economy. We are feeling the emigration in the economy. Businesses no longer have employees. I am waiting for the Census data to understand these two elements. Corruption is a major concern for me. It is all these consequences of the causes of 2021 that you have reflected very accurately. From these concerns, it can also be seen what stage of development Albania is in ," Tabaku declared.
