The Secretary for Public Relations in the Democratic Party, Edvin Kulluri, has commented on the establishment of the special anti-corruption commission.
Kulluri said that the special anti-corruption commission is unnecessary. Kulluri added that the majority votes for him, while the opposition has no choice but not to vote for him.
"The strength of the majority card is made because the majority intends to interfere with the codes, to interfere with the Constitution to repair let's say the Reform in Justice, it is impossible to advance this agenda so we do not need to make any effort except to let's not vote again" , said Kulluri for Ora News.
Kulluri also emphasized that the special anti-corruption commission is unnecessary.
"I believe that until now even the non-parliamentary parties, apart from the Reestablishment DP, the Freedom Party, all agree that a reform or a commission that would review, let's say, the basic legislation related to corruption issues is unnecessary. And in fact, it is really unnecessary", said Kulluri.
Among other things, Kulluri emphasized that nothing has prevented the government from fighting corruption within itself, while it has not spared the accusations that it was their own will to become corrupt.
"First, because the majority has not prevented anything from fighting corruption within itself and governing correctly with the law. So it was entirely their political will to be corrupt or not to see corruption within the government. This is evident from the zero cases of high-level corruption that the government has brought to SPAK" , Kulluri emphasized.
