The deputy of the Democratic Party, Ferdinand Xhaferraj, has stated that the PD does not need a return of Lulzim Basha to the head of the party.
Invited to "Top Story", Xhaferraj emphasized that the DP does not come to power with Sali Berisha at the head. The democratic deputy added that the return of Basha to the head of the party is only in his personal interest and not of the DP.
"The elections have shown that Berisha cannot succeed and it makes it necessary for him to take a step back with the idea that out of 500 thousand votes go to 770, perhaps the first element that should be given in this contribution is that all the deputies were invited to meetings. Without Berisha, he does not come to power, whether we like it or not. But with Berisha at the head of this thing, we are still not winners. The metaphor is that even with Berisha in charge, it cannot be done, but it cannot be done without Berisha. Who needs Luli's return except for his private interest," Xhaferraj said.
