"In the coming weeks, another wave of sanctions", the British

British Ambassador Alastair King-Smith has warned other "non grata" persons in Albania. In an interview, he said that London will hit both left and right, as he also slapped Sali Berisha.

The latter has attacked the ambassador very strongly, but the latter has made it clear that for the British he is a person connected to crime and corruption and there is no tolerance for him.

" When it comes to sanctions and action to be taken against those we judge to be involved in criminal activity and corruption, again we follow a balanced approach. This does not target any individual, as Lord Peach made clear when he announced the wave the first of the sanctions, in July last year, they were against a number of individuals. As you know, when it comes to restrictions on entry into the UK, as in this case, we don't disclose the names, so not everyone has public their involvement in this wave of sanctions. But, as I said before, there will be other waves of sanctions against those involved in criminal activity and corruption. There may be a new wave in the coming weeks. The final decision will to be taken from London ," said Alastair King-Smith.

He also stopped at Berisha. The ambassador said that Britain supports a strong opposition and that tomorrow there will be an alternative government. But he said that when it comes to people who have committed corruption, everyone should be equal.

" We want a strong opposition that is a credible alternative in the future. When it comes to those people involved in corruption and crime, no one is above the law. It should be applied to everyone in a balanced way, not focused only on one political party or group. These are decisions that have been taken by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, by the Minister of Internal Affairs, that is, at the head of the Government, based on the information and evidence that we have. The point here is that this can apply to all political groups, it can apply to businessmen, to criminals and other individuals, and it is not focused on one group of individuals or political parties ," said Alastair King-Smith.

Berisha blames the British ambassador for declaring him "non grata", and therefore accused him of being involved in corruption. But for the ambassador, the person associated with crime and corruption is actually the head of the pulpit.
