Shkruar nga PamfletiPrime Minister Rama delivered the opening speech at the Political Community Summit in Tirana. Rama stated that Europe is a journey, while emphasizing that it is an honor for Albania to host European leaders.
"This journey has become much more difficult. Believe me, it is truly an honor for my entire country, for all the Albanian people, to welcome you to this house built for the European political community in Tirana. That you are not surrounded by the nightmares of Europe, but by the imagination of Albanian children about Europe. Children's dreams are not held hostage by the myths of the past," he said.
Rama commented on the electoral campaign and the results of the May 11 elections at the European Political Community Summit.
The Prime Minister said that the Socialists' electoral campaign was all about Europe, belonging and identity. According to him, this identity bore fruit with more than 52% of the votes.
