Gazment Bardhi has stated that Lulzim Basha is not legally the chairman of the Democratic Party and that he does not have the seal of this party.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, Bardhi said that Lulzim Basha's actions were anti-statutory, similar to Berisha's actions after being expelled from the parliamentary group, which he also called anti-statutory.
"Legally, the DP stamp does not belong to Mr. Basha. The actions he has taken are completely anti-statutory.
It is similar to the anti-statutory actions that Mr. Berisha also did.
Basha can use the seal and the logo, but legally he is not considered the chairman of the DP.
There must be a process in accordance with the Statute of the party, to be the chairman.
The president of the DP cannot come from a process that shrinks the party.
He has a party with 104,000 active members and claims to be the leader of 17,000 active members. These numbers are enough to understand that the path that Mr. Basha is following is wrong and has ruined the Democratic Party," declared Bardhi.
