The deputy of the Democratic Party, Agron Gjekmarkaj, has spoken about his public positioning alongside Berisha in the long conflict in which the Democratic Party is involved.
He said that the common table was to create a common opposition strategy in front of the government and necessity in the conditions when the divided opposition was helping the government.
"In these two years we have really consumed a lot of negative emotions, we have had the last word, we have been emotional, we have been involved in fratricidal battles and all of them have led to a fragmentation of the opposition and a loss of seriousness in front of public opinion. Seeing the state of the opposition that is fragmented is helping the government a lot, undermining our main mission, it is the last moment that anyone feels a responsibility to take advantage of every opportunity to revive the PD. Basha has been invited to the common table and has not accepted. This table was to create a common opposition strategy", said Gjekmarkaj for "Euronews Albania".
