Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha stated today that Arben Kraja, the SPAK prosecutor who is investigating the Tirana incinerator, could not work in the state administration, due to his past in the State Security.
Berisha said that SPAK prosecutors cannot investigate the Tirana incinerator affair, as they are in a conflict of interest.
According to Berisha, Arben Kraja has a nephew and a niece who work in the municipality of Tirana, while for the prosecutor Dritan Prençi he said that he has structured connections with Klodian Zoto, wanted for the affair with the incinerators.
"The amnesty of Erion Veliajt from Kraja-Prençi is the ugliest crime in the history of the Albanian investigation.
It constitutes the most flagrant violation of the laws of the country and the usurpation of the power of the parliament, which the Constitution recognizes the right of amnesty.
Dealing with the amnesties, it turns out that these are delinquents and people who, in a flagrant conflict of interest, announced the amnesty of Erion Veliaj, Edi Rama, Agaç, Artur Metani and others.
Arben Kraja, the former executioner of the Security, has condemned a young man in Shkodër for not accepting communist morality. This investigator said "he violated the norms of communist morality". Kraja remains in the Prosecutor's Office in flagrant contradiction with the current law on the Prosecutor's Office and Article 6 of the Constitution. Kraja is an irresponsible person who should never have dealt with the file of the Tirana arsonist because his nephew and niece are Veliaj's closest collaborators in the Municipality of Tirana. The other prosecutor Prenci, known friend of McGonigal, could never investigate if he had the minimum of conscience, as his structured connections with Zoto, does not allow Prenci to investigate the affair of the century. So, these are the two people who ignored and hid every state document to amnesty Erion Veliaj.
