Prime Minister Rama has spoken about the SPAK investigation against Mayor Erion Veliaj. He said that the lives of Veliaj and his family are threatened by the public trial and not by justice.
He also stated that he does not comment on issues that belong to the institutions of justice, while the search for the guillotine for him is scandalous.
"Temporarily, I know that Erion Veliaj's family life is affected by the public trial conducted not by the relevant institution, but by all those who have engaged in that trial. His dignity is violated by court prosecutors sitting in media clubs or hiding behind portal screens, I know that for sure. As for the rest, no one is an exception, I do not comment on issues that belong to justice institutions. If it is going to change, there must be a strong reason. There may be if there will be a final decision. The demand for the guillotine for him is scandalous," said Rama.
