The former democratic deputy, Fatbardh Kadilli, commented today on the deep defeat of the opposition in Kukës, where in the elections of September 24, the SP candidate, Albert Halilaj, won with a margin of over 5,500 votes.
In an interview for Report TV, Kadilli says that Berisha's rhetoric about stealing votes in the elections is also shameful.
He even calls it hypocritical how Berisha, a politician who raises the myth of greatness, cannot compete with Rama.
"We have a strong political alarm signal that the Democrats, regardless of where they are aligned, and the opposition who ignored it, should not ignore it anymore. There is no analysis for May 14, they lost the party's cause and symbol.
We did not have the point of shame that Shkodran and Kamza were sold, that it is not fair to blame someone else. Is it this politician who raises the myth of greatness and says he can't compete with his opponent? This is to disappoint the Albanians and the democrats. People are not sold if they have hope. Don't stay in politics, but open your arms because you are taking the neck of the opposition.
I am not a supporter of one or the other. I am an oppositionist, the one who first raised the alarm two days after the April 25 elections, when they realized that we had a crisis in the Democratic Party," says Kadilli.
While the lawyer Leonard Karaj sees as problematic the fact that the Democratic Party of Basha has decided to boycott the elections. He says that Berisha and Basha should no longer command the opposition. As for the relocation of Gazment Bardhi to Berisha, the two guests had a difference of opinion. Karaj says that Bardhi doesn't know Berisha as a party leader, but as a deputy. While according to Kadilli, his movement showed a lot.

Karaj: At no time should he boycott the elections. You claim to be PD, with a seal and all, and you cannot for any reason leave without a candidate. But the chances are that we will have a repetition in Himare as well, what will Basha do, I won't come out? Berisha and Basha are no longer there to command the opposition.
They should withdraw, the problem started on April 25, 2021. Basha should have taken responsibility, but you can't go side by side with Basha on June 13, let Basha win again as president and kiss each other in the Assembly of July 17 and pretend that nothing happened. Bardhi does not recognize Berisha as the chairman of the DP but as a member of parliament.
Kadilli: I do not share the same opinion in relation to the movements of the deputies in the direction of Berisha. The meeting doesn't start when Berisha hasn't arrived... you can say that he knows yes...
What changed politically that those who joined and those who refused?
Karaj: They have not united, it is the unification of the parliamentary group.
Kadilli: There is a movement from PD which did not participate in this meeting, he has made a political action. He left Basha's group and joined Berisha's.
The SP won Kukës with the candidate, Albert Halilaj, with a large margin, 5594 votes, against the candidate Emri Vata, who competed under the slogan of the "We win together" coalition of Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta. Specifically, Albert Halilaj received 13,025 votes or 63.67% against Emri Vatas who received 7,431 votes, 36.33%.
