The deputy of the Democratic Party, Lefter Gështenja, first spoke about the work of the opposition during these years regarding the disclosure of the fraud scheme with the incinerators.
According to him, the opposition has done a commendable job. The deputy added that today the country is being misgoverned and that for this reason the opposition should start contributing for the good of the country, as it has its weight in this situation.
"Today, we should talk more about the misgovernance of the country and then about the situation where the Democratic Party has been for almost two years.
Even the opposition as a whole has its weight for this situation where the country is. The main responsibility lies with the government. Suffice it to mention what has been happening recently. SPAK's recent decisions show that the evils that come to this country come from this political force.
For almost 10 years, the country has been governed by an organization. Just look at what happened to the incinerators
Today, even though for almost 6 years Rama has been saying that the opposition has this job, he was proud of the incinerators, today the opposite is being proven. Without getting involved in other abusive tenders.
Lastly, the biggest damage done to this country by this government is the depopulation of the country. All these who are fleeing, they are labor force, they are intellectuals and they flee never to return.
Here, the contribution of the opposition is also needed, to stop this phenomenon at least," said the deputy.
He emphasized that involved in the affair of the incinerators are 16 deputies of the majority who have signed.
For the opposition deputy, after all these arrests by SPAK, Prime Minister Rama has political responsibility.
"The opposition has done a commendable job. He made a report, which, even though it was not voted by even a part of the opposition, was made based on facts and evidence and we filed the file in SPAK.
I commend anyone who has contributed to getting the facts out about the incinerators. This is the biggest theft in 30 years, carried out by a structured group.
We talk about incinerators, but we don't have incinerators today. Incinerators would also be built to create energy.
In Elbasan and Fier, the contracts have been completed, but none of them are working today. Even in Tirana it should have ended, but nothing has been done.
Today, as we speak, there are at least 16 deputies in the seats of the Albanian parliament who have directly or indirectly contributed to the incinerator construction procedures.
If SPAK continues like this, impunity on both sides must end.
The Prime Minister says that the responsibility is personal. I agree, but the prime minister has political responsibility, because he chose these ministers.
I am of the principle that when justice speaks, politics should be silent", said Gështenja for "Abc News".
