Lawyer Spartak Ngjela has shared a strong message on social media, warning of a major upheaval in the Albanian political and state scene. According to him, high-level state corruption in Albania is destined to end in prison and the confiscation of stolen assets.
"They have no escape; the corrupt are caught by SPAK," Ngjela writes, underlining that the Special Prosecution's investigations have targeted the highest figures in the Albanian state.
He directly mentions two well-known names:
Sali Berisha, former President and former Prime Minister;
Ilir Meta, former President, former Prime Minister and former Speaker of the Parliament;
According to Ngjela, behind these two figures "walks a whole long chain of well-known names" - ministers, mayors and important leaders of the state administration.

So far, two of the most powerful perpetrators have been criminally charged:
Sali Berisha, former president of Albania;
Ilir Meta, former president of Albania;
And behind them walks the entire long chain of well-known names as ministers, as mayors; and as important directors in the high state administration in Albania.
"Wait and see the liberation of Albania, occupied by the highly corrupt, since 1992 ," he writes.
Ngjela's statement comes at a time when SPAK has intensified investigations and arrests of senior officials, bringing once-untouchable figures to the dock for the first time.
