The Democratic Party's elected MP on May 11, Besart Xhaferri, stated that the strike is a constitutional option and the opposition should try all possible options.
In the Klan News studio, Xhaferri said that it is very easy to verify the electoral farce of May 11, as according to him, many traces have been left behind.
" The strike is a constitutional option. All options within the Constitution must be tried by the opposition to achieve its goal nationally and internationally, but of course you don't achieve it just by banging your head against the wall, but by arguing and proving them. Meanwhile, today the traces have been left so large towards the electoral farce that it will be easy to prove them. So, they must go in parallel as strong political acts within the constitutional framework, but also the proving of documents that prove the electoral farce, such as the missing 50 thousand envelopes that were taken to the diaspora and today it is not known where they are. As are the 130 thousand ballots that are still not known where they are, such as the participation of all directors of every level in the electoral campaign process. We will take all of this to the appropriate authorities ", said Xhaferri.
MP Xhaferi expresses optimism about the international intervention and reports regarding the May 11 electoral farce, as the opposition calls it.
" These are all preliminary reactions. As is the preliminary report of the OSCE/ODIHR that has issued a completely negative report, so is the congratulations of the American Embassy itself that does not congratulate the winner, but the Albanian people at the same time and the encouragement of the EU instances themselves that are collecting facts and submitting them to law enforcement institutions, but also the resolution of 108 world center-right parties that demand a technical government, but also the fact-finding mission of the European People's Parties that are the grouping of the largest parties of the European Union is very encouraging for the cause that the opposition should pursue not only for itself, but to bring the standard in Albania of elections that should be separated from the public administration ", said Xhaferri.
