The Deputy of the Democratic Party, Ina Zhupa, through a statement to the media, has accused the General Director of RTSH, Alfred Peza.
Zhupa said that he fired 125 people without any motivation, turning RTSH into a personal fiefdom.
"We will make a series of denunciations about the abuses of RTSH led by the new illegal director, Alfred Peza.
Today I will focus on cases of mass dismissals in violation of the rules of the labor code of the Republic of Albania, carried out by the General Director, Alfred Peza, since taking the position and until two days ago, where the flagrant case was the director of who had done the big damage, who had praised his show that takes place on RTSH, on his personal Instagram.
For this, he was punished by the General Director, Alfred Peza, by dismissing him from his job.
This case and hundreds of other cases which I will read for transparency to the public, show how Alfred Peza has turned RTSH into a personal fiefdom, without law, without morals, where he does the most illegal and immoral actions in terms of how to administer an institution that is maintained by public funds and the taxes of Albanians", said Zhupa.
The deputy has mentioned concrete cases of dismissals by reading the names and motivations, which are, in her opinion, completely illegal.
She said that even as a member of the Parliamentary Media Committee, she will take all steps to bring Alfred Peza to justice.
"Certainly, that member of the Education Commission, the commission responsible for the control of RTSH, will follow all legal steps to stop and bring Alfred Peza to legal responsibility. Just as I appeal to the bodies of justice, the Supreme State Control to monitor this institution that has turned into an illegal institution, an institution where the will of an individual is more important than the rules of the state, the labor code and than the morality and responsibility that must be performed by the public functions in this case, in the RTSH maintained with the taxes of the Albanians", said Zhupa in her statement.
