The general secretary of the DP, Flamur Noka, explained the incident that happened in the Parliament, where he clashed with the MP Agron Shehaj.
Invited to the News24 studio, Noka said that tensions started when Shehaj vacated the podium for Pranvera Resulaj, while he was denied the same opportunity.
"There is a different approach for the SP and another for us," he said, accusing the majority of discrimination in the treatment of opposition MPs.
Asked about the reason for blocking Shehaj's interpellation with Minister Balluku, Noka said that the rules of the Assembly do not allow the development of two interpellations on the same issue within one session. He mentioned that a similar interpellation was previously conducted by MP Hoti.
When asked about the incident of throwing away Shehaj's phone, Noka explained: " Pranvera made room for Resulaj to speak, while he told me 'I won't let you talk alive.' This is unacceptable. "
Flamur Noka also emphasized that the Democratic Party has been active in supporting citizens, mentioning the protests for the Thumanë-Kashar project and the reaction to the property tax.
"Only DP has reacted for three consecutive months in Thumana ", he concluded.
