MP Tomorr Alizoti has requested the return of the first session in the Assembly and a debate regarding the majority's governing program.
During his speech from the Parliament, Alizoti stated that democracy lives from debate, adding that such a thing is also necessary for the government itself, whose main goal is EU membership.
He also noted that the program does not mention a single word about Kosovo, while recalling that the Assembly has not adopted a resolution on genocide.
"To my knowledge, this is the first time in 30 years that there has been no debate on a program. Our greatest achievement has been the debate. Re-do the debate, it is the main point that is in the major interest of the government itself, which has a major plan for EU integration. Why are you avoiding it? I have read the program and I have seen very few words about depopulation and none about Kosovo.
Democracy lives on debate, bring back the first session.
Avoidance in my eyes is weakness. You have many mandates but you are weak in political articulation.
A rhetorical question. Where does your left stand? The European left stands with the weak, you are with the villain, with the strongman of the neighborhood, with the oligarch.
I didn't see a single word about Kosovo, when it is a pain. Its pain turned into something global, and the Albanian Parliament today has a problem approving a resolution on the genocide there, this is a shame for the public.
"You steal medicine from children and cancer patients. Where is your left hand?" said Alizoti.
