The Democratic Party MP for the Korça Region, Ledina Alolli, was on the ground on the Librazhd-Prrenjas axis, where landslides have blocked movement towards the southeast.
She described the situation as problematic and emphasized the importance of this road as the main connection between the southeast of the country and Tirana.
According to her, the blockage of this axis directly affects the region's economy and the movement of citizens.
The MP leveled accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, accusing them of a lack of responsibility in infrastructure management.
"I came to see the situation closely because it is the main artery connecting the southeast of Albania with the country's capital. A great loss not only for the southeast, but also for the Korça region and the economy of the southeast region. Today is Monday and students should be near the auditoriums, but let's not forget that this road is also used by people who go to Tirana for important health problems. Today, Prime Minister Rama will land by helicopter in Korça, while Albanians are struggling to get to the places they need to go. Golden roads for Albanians remain roads, while for Prime Minister Rama, his cabinet and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku they are a means to line their pockets", she said, among other things.
