The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted again regarding the collapse of the Librazhd-Prrenjas road segment, rejecting claims that the cause of the damage was the weather.
Through a Facebook post, Berisha declares that the real reason for the road collapse is related to "theft and corruption," accusing the government of mismanagement and attempts to justify the situation with natural factors.
In his reaction, he also shared a video by journalist Osman Stafa, which he says "clearly shows the true face" of the situation.
Berisha also said that the head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, lied when he stated that the bridge collapse was due to depreciation over the years and natural factors. He directly accuses the government, stating that they are "fraudsters and thieves."
"Once again, the real cause of the collapse of the Librazhd-Prrenjas road is not the weather, but theft and corruption. Watch this video, in which the well-known journalist Osman Stafa bursts into the face and throws into the river the deceptive propaganda of Taulant Bego Jaris, Taos, who lied by stating that the collapse of the bridge occurred because it was built 30 years ago (in short, during Saliu's time) and due to "natural" causes it has degraded towards collapse! Fraudsters and thieves!", writes Berisha.
