The leader of "Albania Becomes", Adriatik Lapaj, warned from Elbasan where he presented the candidates for MPs that after the May 11 elections he will not form a coalition with the SP or the DP.
According to him, the big parties are the ones who have held Albania hostage.
During his speech to supporters, Lapaj denounced that citizens are being pressured with dismissals or legalization permits, for votes.
"Is it a fact that in Albania people in the administration are threatened for voting? Is it a fact that in Albania there is a phenomenon of vote buying? That payments and empty camps are given to get votes. Is it a fact that people are held hostage through legalizations and land certificates for voting?"
If we get enough mandates to govern alone, it is up to us to go with one of the parties. We will not go with either. But we will take the country to early elections. Why? Because by taking the country to early elections, all the money that has been thrown away will be multiplied by zero and this will create the opportunity for us to undo the massive phenomenon of vote buying in the second elections and the second will create the opportunity for Albania to go to a second election where the administration is not threatened with their jobs and those who receive a pension are not threatened with their pensions being taken away. We will take the country to early elections so that Albanians can finally vote without buying votes and without being threatened by the blackmailers. It will be governed in relation to the will of the people. As long as there are no elections that reflect 100% of the will of the people, there will be no coalition and cooperation with anyone who holds Albania hostage", Lapaj said.
