The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, stated at today's press conference that a grassroots debate has begun within the party, and working groups have been created with the aim of strengthening it.
According to him, a discussion will take place in the DP with the main goal of strengthening the party for the "final battle with the drug regime".
He stressed that he is aware that the Democrats expect this, while adding that he guarantees the members and supporters of the DP that they will engage in a strong process of reviving the party.
"The elections in Albania were marked as they are. Terror and violence against pluralism received the punishment they deserved, the Albanian narco-state was declared a danger to the region and Europe. I guarantee that the debate has begun at the grassroots level, working groups have been created, guidelines have been formulated, and based on it, a discussion will take place in the DP with the main goal of strengthening the party for the decisive battle against the narco-regime."
