DP MP, Flamur Noka, opposed today's plenary session, as according to him, Prime Minister Edi Rama should be present.
During his speech in the Assembly, Noka described the current political situation as a dramatic moment and accused the majority of protecting a government immersed in theft.
"Now what has happened in the past week and these days every Albanian and every international can see it, is there anything worse than coming today and seeing you smiling and applauding the lady who protects the government that is submerged from head to toe in theft?! We've been telling you for years that the incinerator is the mega theft of the century, and you're still smiling today! It's a bigger shame, today on the most dramatic day that chair is empty.
What is your relationship with the law?! Go through the motions... Are you or are you not representatives of the citizens, how can there be a session, maybe a cow broke its leg in Borizana?! Do you understand that with this laugh you show that you represent only thieves? A Prime Minister and a government in any democratic country would have run away from politics, there is no session without the Prime Minister, forget it. The chief thief's deputy is gone, but the chief thieves are here. Thieves and representatives of the citizens cannot be together here, greedy, monsters who only steal and steal and engage in crimes, no, no!" said Noka from the floor of the Assembly.
