Today's plenary session was accompanied by debates regarding SPAK's request for the arrest of Arben Ahmetaj. The head of the DP group, Gazment Bardhi, requested the suspension of the session. Bardhi also added that Prime Minister Edi Rama must account for the incident in Fushë Kruja where members of the Rraja tribe raped two Mayan cousins for the quarry, as well as for the SPAK request for the arrest of Ahmetaj.
Bardhi said that Rama should leave the negotiations with Ahmatej in the office and give an account for the incinerators in the Assembly.
" Leave the coffee in the office and the negotiations with Arben Ahmetaj, then we move on to examining the request ," said Bardhi.
Meanwhile, Elisa Spiropali defended the prime minister and asked SPAK to continue the work with justice
" In relation to Prime Minister Rama, there is no word or argument that can make him dirty in relation to justice. You attack the institutions of justice and make them complex. I wish that they do not become complex but do the work with justice", said Spiropali .
Bardhi has also filed a request to change the agenda and to insert the request of SPAK for the arrest of MP Arben Ahmetaj in the first point. Bardhi had announced this request yesterday after the meeting of the Council of Mandates where the SP and DP agreed to remove the mandate of Arben Ahmetaj, but today he addresses the Assembly with an official request.
The democratic deputy, Jorida Tabaku, insisted that the Ahmetaj case be included in the agenda and that Prime Minister Rama be present in the Assembly. She says that incinerators are the biggest corrupt affair of the Albanian state.

Today, the government cannot hide behind an accusation that the SP has made for 7 years in a row, after you have put your face to corruption, and after you have testified in the investigative commission that you have no connection. The entire council of ministers, deputy ministers, deputies, etc. It is the minimum to talk about it here today. Today, if there was political responsibility, they should have resigned, this is the biggest affair of the Albanian state. Anyone who speaks and defends him becomes part of the crime. "- says Tabaku.
Former prime minister Sali Berisha said that the majority helped him escape, while he asked the socialist general secretary if he accompanied Ahmetaj.
The Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, responded to the opposition that requested the change of the agenda and the voting of SPAK's request for the arrest of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj.
"Our silence today has to do with respect for justice, but not with respect for a part of our colleagues that when it comes to making us moral, a part of you is the end of parliamentarism. Our silence is only related to what we agreed to vote for in July 2016 on the reform in Justice" , said Manja.
In the meeting held the day before in the Council of Mandates, SP and DP agreed to remove the mandate of MP Arben Ahmetaj. The opposition presented its report yesterday, while the SP asked for more time and said it will present it on Friday, while it has been decided that SPAK's request will be included in the agenda for Monday's plenary session.
