Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha declared that the integration of Albania in the European Union is being hindered by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
In a statement to the media, Berisha stated that Rama has taken legal power and is not allowing Fredi Beleri to take the oath.
According to him, the oath does not even require a court or prosecution decision, but only an administrative order from the Minister of Justice to accompany him to the oath hall.
"Absolutely only Edi Rama, because the country's laws never stop Beler from taking the oath. And the vows were made in this place, not one but several, despite being imprisoned. It is Edi Rama who has taken the legal power and does not allow to swear. Beler's oath does not require a court decision, it does not require a prosecutor's decision, it requires an administrative order from the Minister of Justice to accompany him to the meeting hall of the municipality of Himara where he will take the oath. It is the Ministry of Justice, it is the General Directorate of Prisons, it is all executive. Not to say that the judicial bodies controlled by Edi Rama have accepted as evidence what is not accepted as evidence in criminal proceedings. So, Edi Rama is hindering him. Greece is not asking for anything other than the implementation of the country's laws. He is blocking it for the most mafia purposes, he is lost, furious after the lands in Himare", said Berisha.
