The deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, has reacted to the attack in the North of Kosovo, where as a result the Kosovar police officer, Afrim Bunjaku, was killed.
Through a post on social networks, Tabaku said that Serbia, through these acts, proves that it does not want a solution through dialogue, so it demands that the internationals take measures.
As for Albania's position, Tabaku says that bilateralism is no longer an appropriate language, since bilateralism in a war where we have an aggressor and a victim no longer works! Today is the time to put pressure on Serbia to be with Kosovo!"
"While the world is waiting for the reflection of the Serbian government on the dialogue with Kosovo and the recognition of the latter. The Serbian government in Belgrade goes to the extreme of worshiping terrorists and murderers who were killed by Kosovo police forces after killing one police officer and wounding two others.
Revisionism, destructiveness, violence and aggressiveness should not be tools and instruments in politics and diplomacy. At dawn on Monday, a policeman of the forces of the Republic of Kosovo was killed in the territory of Kosovo and two others were injured. While we are waiting for the international community to take measures against Serbia for the aggressive act towards Kosovo, Serbia continues to send signals that they are not focused on the future but on the past, that they do not want a solution between dialogue and anarchy. This conflict flared up when Europe is in the middle of a war fueled by fascism, but brings us reminiscences from a distant and painful time for the region. The painful history of Kosovo has shown us that the fight for justice, the fight for freedom and independence is not easy. But today, after 15 years of independent statehood, it is unacceptable,
The veneration of those who commit terrorist acts comes from the desperation to accept reality and for this measures must be taken, it is time not to give in to the spirit that seeks to change the present by violence; time not to allow anyone to hold the region hostage in an unnecessary war.
And for the Albanian state: bilateralism is no longer a suitable language; the partnership has not brought any benefit; the two-sidedness in a war where there is/are an aggressor and a victim no longer works! Today is the time to put pressure on Serbia to be with Kosovo!", writes Tabaku
