The Law Commission, Bylykbashi asks Balla: Will the draft for addresses affect the electoral lists?

Today, the Committee for Laws met, where the issue of addresses is being discussed. Oerd Bylykbashi asked Minister Balla what will happen to the current addresses assigned to the 2016 project. He asked for an answer from Balla, if these addresses are valid anymore, since according to him there has been a large number of reports from citizens and how much will they influence the electoral lists.

Minister Balla said that this will not affect the election lists at all. While in 2025, parliamentary elections are expected to be held in Albania.

Bylykbashi:  What will happen to the current addresses assigned to citizens on the 2016 project. A large number of citizens have reported them, and there were even penalties for those who did not declare it within a certain period. What happened to these addresses?

Is the 2016 project still valid? Or is it just a supplement?

Will citizens know the exact addresses or the unique code?

Balla:  The law has nothing to do with voter lists.
