Kreshnik Spahiu: I tell you why the new US ambassador will make Berisha, Rama

The well-known lawyer, Kreshnik Spahiu, expresses his belief that David Kostelancik is expected to be the highest diplomatic profile of the USA in Albania and that with his arrival in Tirana as the ambassador of the United States of America, he will make Berisha, Rama and Meta to Yuri Kim looks like a flower.

In an interview, he says that Kostelancik knows Albania and corruption better than Yuri Kim and has a tougher profile than her.

- Mr. Spahiu, we still do not have a US ambassador in Albania. This is because the new ambassador who was to come was not approved by the Senate. Why didn't he come to replace Yuri Kim?

David Kostelancik is expected to be the highest US diplomatic profile in Albania due to the fact of the historical background he has in relation to Albania. His selection to be the US ambassador to Albania is no coincidence. So it is a selection due to the importance that the US has placed on the diplomatic position of American projects in this region. his role will be higher and more active than Yuri Kim. I think that it will be approved and that he will come to Albania and it is simply a matter of procedure. Those who have considered Yuri Kim as enemies will dream that Yuri Kim will come again because it will seem flowery and very peaceful in comparison to Kostelancik. He knows Albania and corruption better than Yuri Kim and has a tougher profile than her. I think he will come to open a new chapter. Yuri Kim did his part, cleaned politics from those who had been in politics for years. Meta, Berisha have been de-factored politically and are kept with oxygen by the Albanian media that every evening make political debates about Berisha, Meta and Edi Rama. Berisha and Meta have closed their political chapter, they were the factor when they were in the race for power. Those in power no longer have a chance to come, so this brings them down. Appearing in the media every evening does not mean that you are a political factor, they only have 120 people today. They are no longer a political factor, by 2025 stronger events will occur to de-factor them. Berisha will no longer be a candidate for deputy in 2025 because the law does not allow it.

-Berisha continues to give speeches from the balcony of the apartment where he lives, is there anything from his statements that has caught your attention?

It seems to me like a repeated tape, even without sound you know what it means. He will convince his supporters that this is a political charge and put pressure on the prosecutors. Why did Rama's regime arrest Berisha when Rama first came to power, but they are arresting him today. If Rama had the prosecution and the court, why did he let him go free for 10 years, when he is no longer even a factor. Well, he is sure that this is not coming to him from Rama, but from the USA. SPAK is not a branch of the Socialist Party, but of the United States of America, and those prosecutors have 30 years in law, but they opened the case against Berisha after receiving support from Washington. The political regime has an interest in keeping Berisha in politics. The media is only dealing with Berisha, there is no talk of poverty or pension.

-What does Berisha gain from these speeches?

To be one of the 3 key people to hold the keys to power. Being in the media and making protests does not give breathing space to other political forces to develop.

- Does Prime Minister Edi Rama have a plan for 2024, or is it a normal government?

Edi Rama, Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta hope that the ambassador of the United States of America will be delayed in the Senate. Albania to be without an American ambassador during 2024. The absence of the American ambassador has weakened the diplomatic and political pressure on them. It is clearly known that the end of the political mandate was a very strong clash between Edi Rama and Yuri Kim for the election of the head of SPAK. Rama did not want Altin Duman, the end was a statement by a Foreign Minister who declared that Yuri Kim's mandate has ended and will be replaced and all of them want Washington to have half a foot in Albania and be out of American pressure. Because the dismantling and removal from politics of Berisha and Meta accelerates the fall of Edi Rama's regime. The strategy of Washington and the internationals is to dismantle the political establishment. It is these 2-3 forces that keep pluralism and democracy installed by agreement.

These cannot be dismantled simultaneously, because if Rama falls at the moment there is no other political force that can replace him. They have to dissolve the political force of Sali Berisha and then create a new opposition, because nearly 60% of the population does not like Edi Rama. They can be organized in a new party and in 2029 the regime of Edi Rama is about to be overthrown through a new and organized opposition with new leaders without Meta and Sali Berisha. Rama has a series of failures and successes. He came with the promise that he would not open new countries, which would curb immigration, and I add that. Rama is at the end of 10 years with a long list of failures, but he also has two or three successes. He is not accused of murder, no matter how authoritarian he is, he is not accused of an injury, unlike Berisha. So, Rama does not kill you.

-According to you, what is the main work that Albania should accomplish with Edi Rama in 2024?

I must maintain the same diplomatic line. Rama has the obligation as a representative of the socialists, of a social program in Albania, to keep the promise of increasing an average salary to 900 euros to hire and increasing pensions and the living minimum. Rama came to power from the left, from the socialists, from the poor, from the employed. Until today, for 10 years, he has not kept his promise. I am not sure if in year 11 I will fulfill the promise. The salary increase would be welcome this year.

-On the other hand, a serious event happened in the region. More specifically, a Serbian politician was violated, after he visited Kosovo and paid homage at the Tomb of Adem Jashari. His condition is very serious, how do you comment on it?

I think that every bad comes for a good. From a negative event, this serves for Europe and the US to understand the true face of Serbia, to understand that Serbia has not changed its mentality against the Albanians. This serious event has positively served as an omen to alert the international offices that Belgrade is an appendage of Russia to dominate other states. I think this event shows a lot, it shows that Putit's methods are equally applied in Serbia. Sandulovic is not a political factor, nor is he on the balcony, he is an individual from an insignificant political force, but this diminishes the serious event that happened, it emphasizes it because no matter how light weight he has, he is considered poses a danger to the Belgrade regime. / Today
