Halit Valteri, the SP advisor to the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Tirana, invited to the show "Oponencë" said that there are indications of who Nesti Angoni is, the person whose denunciations led to the dismissal of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, being imprisoned.
He said that this person is not within the SP, but according to him, he could be from the DP.
"I have an indication of who Nesti Angoni could be. I assure you that he is not within the SP. You will find out. He could be from the DP, there is no surprise," said Valteri.
We recall that Nesti Angoni, an anonymous whistleblower, filed a series of complaints with SPAK regarding the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who since February 10, 2025 has been under the measure of "prison arrest" requested by the Special Prosecution and left in force by the GJKKO and other levels of the Albanian judiciary.
