Independent candidate for Tirana, Florjan Binaj, has reacted after the Constitutional Court decided not to dismiss Erion Veliaj from the position of mayor of Tirana.
Binaj has stated that he will run for mayor of Tirana whenever elections are held.
" For me and for the citizens of Tirana, the essence remains the same: Tirana needs change.
I will run for mayor of Tirana whenever elections are held with the same conviction, dedication, and energy to serve the people with honesty, accountability, and transparency.
This is not a race for power, but an effort for our city, to make it the home we want to leave to our children. The support, encouragement and trust that thousands of citizens have given me these days have convinced me that together we will succeed.
Our journey continues.
"Nothing will stop the change that the citizens of Tirana want," Binaj writes.
