The opposition is expected to be structured into three separate parliamentary groups in the Assembly, as a strategy to gain more time for discussions and interventions in plenary sessions.
In addition to the official DP parliamentary group, which will be led by Gazment Bardhi, two other groups are expected to be formed.
The Freedom Party and the Allies Group are expected to form a separate parliamentary group . These parliamentary groups are expected to "take" Democratic MPs, in order to have the number of MPs to form a separate group.
The movement aims to take advantage of the Assembly's regulations, which give more time on the floor to parties with more parliamentary groups.
"Today started with the meeting of the heads of parliamentary groups at the Presidency of the Assembly. At the DP headquarters, there is talk of three parliamentary groups that the DP will have. The DP parliamentary group will be led by Gazment Bardhi. Another parliamentary group is expected to be the Freedom Party, which should take at least 3 deputies from the Democratic Party.
"Another parliamentary group is expected to be the Allies Group, which is expected to take 4 MPs from the DP. The DP is doing this to have more time to speak in parliament," said journalist Osman Stafa.
