The Assembly meets in plenary session today, with 12 items on the agenda, most of which are discussions on draft laws approved by the Government in the last two weeks.
Also, questions are expected to be asked of Ministers Mirela Kumbaro and Andis Salla, respectively Minister of Education and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Andis Salla, requested by MP Erion Braçe.
The Assembly is also expected to vote on "On an addition to decision no. 65/2025, "On the appointment of substitute members in the composition of the permanent committees of the Assembly", as amended". 12. Discussions on issues outside the agenda.
But beyond the agenda, the session is expected to be filled with debates, where opposition MPs will insist on SPAK's request for Parliament's authorization regarding former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
The majority has decided that this issue will be reviewed in the session of March 12, a day on which the opposition has also called a protest in front of Parliament, while accusing Prime Minister Edi Rama of dragging out the Special Prosecution's request, with the aim of missing deadlines.
Also, today's session is expected to include the President's decrees on new ministers, although they are not foreseen in the agenda. This is due to the fact that the Head of State decreed the ministers on March 4, while the session's order was approved on March 3. Therefore, at the request of the SP parliamentary group, the Assembly is expected to approve the inclusion of the President's decrees in the session as well.
