The Minister of Justice, Besfort Lamallari, received in a meeting the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Tirana, Nancy VanHorn.
The progress of the implementation of justice reform, the rule of law and the strengthening of the rule of law were the main topics of discussion.
"It was a pleasure to meet today with the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Tirana, Ms. Nancy VanHorn. We discussed the progress of the implementation of justice reform, the rule of law and the strengthening of the rule of law, to make the progress achieved so far irreversible and to guarantee EU membership by 2030."
"We remain committed to strengthening our capacities in justice institutions and the penitentiary system, as well as to intensifying bilateral cooperation. The strategic partnership with the US and their continued support for many key reforms are of invaluable value to us," writes Minister Lamallari, while also publishing photos from the meeting with the US Chargé d'Affaires in Tirana.
