Former MP Lefter Maliqi has warned SPAK prosecutor Dritan Prençi to beware of any traps set by Prime Minister Rama. Maliqi even emphasizes that prosecutor Prençi should also protect his own life.
"I am making a public appeal to prosecutor Dritan Prençi. Since Rama is the head of the mafia, beware of any combination, any trap that he can make with bandits to denigrate him as a prosecutor, because the war has begun. He must be careful, of course, to protect his life, but he must also be careful about what he does not expect from this man to denigrate him," Maliqi declared for A2 CNN.
He also stated that the ways in which organized crime operates to discredit opponents are well known.
Asked if he had information about such a warning or indication, Maliqi responded by saying: "I was a real police officer who ran a police station for 25 years and I know what crime does, what combinations they use, what traps they use to denigrate it as they have denigrated the war within the species. There are indications, but I myself am convinced that I do not expect anything from this man who said "one another's heads to the criminals, one another's heads within the Rilindja group, this man is tied head to foot to crime and this man is a hostage to crime ," said Maliqi.
According to him, this situation can only change through international pressure or sustained protests.
"This one won't be overthrown. This one will be overthrown by America, this one will be overthrown by sustained protests," Maliqi emphasized.
