On the show "Të Pashoq", Democratic MP Klevis Balliu expressed his conviction that Edi Rama will not be able to complete his fourth term in office. Balliu even said that Rama will have the same fate as Erion Veliaj in his third term as Mayor of Tirana.
Regarding the opposition protests and how much of a result they may have in overthrowing Edi Rama, Balliu said that time has shown that the protests yielded results, bringing to attention those held in front of the Tirana Municipality.
"It has already been proven that there is no doubt that we are facing a government of traffickers and criminals," said Balliu.
Do you really think that with protests like the one on Monday you will achieve anything? Because it was just a march, two Molotov cocktails were thrown, they ran home, the situation will repeat itself and we have seen such a panorama many years ago...
Klevis Balliu: Rama's fourth mandate is like Veliaj's third mandate and will end the same way. I have also heard this discussion about protests that are held, not held, do they accomplish work or not, about the municipality protests. And the exact opposite was proven. Our actions are not only protests, but also the criminal charges that we have filed, they are the reason why today Belinda Balluku or Agasi, AKSHI and all these others are because of the charges filed by the Democratic Party.
No one else filed the charges. The Democratic Party filed the charges. And despite the fact that the largest media outlets in the country had trouble covering these charges and these realities because they wanted to deal with the opposition.
It has already been proven beyond any doubt that we are facing a government of traffickers and criminals.
In this respect, it is no longer a knowledge only for Albanians, but now it is also a knowledge for the international community. It has never happened in the history of pluralistic Albania that a Government was not greeted by the United States of America after the elections. It is the first time that this has happened and there is a reason why it is happening.
It has never happened in the history of pluralistic Albania that we have today, in the direction of national security institutions, such as the case of the National Anti-Terrorism Agency or the Cybercrime Directorate, managed, directed by an individual who has absolutely no public function. In other words, by what could be called the deep state.
This individual is Ergys Agasi, also known as the coordinator of organized crime, about whom I asked the Head of the Intelligence Service at the Internal Affairs Committee if she has any knowledge of him and what work he does.
