Leskaj resigned from his positions in the DP, Berisha: I appreciate his stance

Bujar Leskaj, the DP MP in the Vlora District, announced his resignation from party functions a day ago, retaining only his legislative mandate.

Asked about this decision by the MP who also held the position of political leader for the Vlora Region, Democratic leader Sali Berisha said that he had accepted Leskaj's resignation.

"That's true. Bujar Leskaj came to me and resigned. And I accept his resignation as the district leader. I have no more comments. He has made it public. I appreciate his resignation. His suggestion is his suggestion, but as a step I declare this. He will contribute to the DP, but not as the district leader," said Berisha.
