Lisandër Hoxha has announced that he will be part of the Primary race within the DP for the Tirana district.
In a post on social media, Hoxha invites democrats to vote responsibly for a stronger DP and a sure victory on May 11.
"Dear Democrats, On March 1st, the Democratic Party holds primaries to choose those who will represent us in the political elections of May 11th. This is a crucial moment, because our victory will not come by chance, but from the choices we make today.
During these years we have gone through great challenges, but we have stood together, with faith in our values and the right path. I have been in this battle since day one, as one of the first to support the re-establishment of the Democratic Party, even when all seemed lost. I have fought to defend our principles, for a true opposition and for a DP that belongs to the democrats.
Today, with the same dedication, I enter the primary race for the Tirana District. I do this because I believe in our values, in the future of the Democratic Party and in the strength of the democrats to make the right decisions. At every step of my political journey, I have felt your support and for this I am grateful.
Our resilience has a strong source: the leadership of Sali Berisha and the determination of the Democrats not to give up. This faith has given me inexhaustible energy to be your voice wherever it has been needed. Therefore, on March 1, I invite you to make an important decision, to vote responsibly for a stronger DP and a sure victory on May 11.
