The deputy of the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj, said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the Democratic Party will accept without any public or non-public comment the decision of the Court of Appeal regarding the party seal.
When asked if he will join Reestablishment if the court decides to give the seal to Sali Berisha, Alibeaj answered that he will stand by the principles he believes in, regardless of the seal.
"We will accept the verdict that the court will give in this case, this is the example that should be given to the public. The political model that should be given is not to prejudice, blackmail the justice system. We do not have any kind of attack on the court, we will accept without any kind of comment the decision of the Appeal... I am not one of those who go after the stamp, I go after the values, I stand by the fact that today Albanians want Albania to be clearly oriented in the Euro-Atlantic course, who do not want a corrupt caste, who want to have faith in justice. With a seal, without a seal, it stands and I will stand by these principles until the end, nothing tempts me. The issue of the stamp is not a matter of values", said Alibeaj.
