The chairman of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, has stated that he does not rule out the return of Lulzim Basha to the head of the DP.
Invited to Euronews Albania, Bardhi said that it is in his personality that he says everything he thinks and he did the same with Basha, adding that they had a very good relationship with each other.
"There has never been a person that Mr. Basha in the Democratic Party has had permanent opposition to every action, decision, even a message, so we debated why this thing was said this way and it was not said that way. The only person who was an opponent within the Democratic Party of Lulzim Basha was Gazment Bardhi and this was thanks to the completely human relationship we had with each other. That's why I appreciate Lulzim Basha. When I don't rule out anyone else, I don't rule out Lulzim Basha either. I am not in exclusionary language", said Bardhi.
However, he added that he truly believed Basha's resignation at the moment he publicly declared it.
