The Council of Legislation will meet today to discuss the mandate of MP Olta Xhaçka.
The decision was taken by the speaker of the parliament Elisa Spiropali after the demands of the opposition.
In the meeting called by Speaker of Parliament Elisa Spiropali, the decision of the Constitutional Court that ordered the Assembly to send the mandate of Olta Xhaçka to this court will be reviewed to decide whether it is in conflict of interest or not.
The call of the Council of Legislation before the end of the summer holidays for MPs out of session was made after the request of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party.
The opposition MPs consider as unacceptable the political protection and obstruction of justice, which the majority is doing in the case of the former minister and deputy Olta Xhaçka, ignoring the Constitution and preventing the implementation of two decisions of the Constitutional Court.
