The Rama-Meloni agreement for immigrants, DP deputy: It gives space to human trafficking

MP Tritan Shehu has commented on the agreement between Prime Minister Edi Rama and his Italian counterpart Georgia Meloni for immigrants.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Shehu emphasized that the agreement contradicts elements of Albanian citizenship.

According to him, this agreement will leave room for the trafficking of human beings and the traffickers will become much stronger.

"This agreement contradicts some important elements of Albanian constitutionalism and some elements that can be created in Albania. I think this element will give space to the traffic of human beings. Those who will be strengthened by all this are the traffickers, the increase in human trafficking. I see a great criticism in Italy of this agreement", he said.
