I have no complex to say that the arrest of Sali Berisha is not good news and it is a depressing day for the democrats and the opposition.
On the human side, I fully sympathize with him. Politically, as he himself declares, I do not seek nor will I ever seek preferential treatment towards him. But, I would like the facts to be clear, and this story was not covered by a fog of bias.
We must say it clearly and unequivocally, Albania today suffers and languishes from the aggressive and unprecedented governmental corruption of the last 10 years.
I am aware that it is not easy for the new justice to investigate the bosses of affairs with hundreds of millions of euros! And that's why we encouraged him!
But if they want to serve Albania, if they want to justify the people's trust, their hopes and expectations, SPAK and GJKKO, begs to show courage, courage and strength to show impartiality and independence and go to the source of oppression in this country !
Today's haste and measure against Sali Berisha is disproportionate, the restriction of political rights violates the constitutional right to exercise the function of a deputy and it seems as if the judicial power overlaps the legislative one!
