Myslim Murrizi 'explodes the bomb': List of candidates, the next bargain with Rama!
Myslim Murrizi, former MP and candidate in the May 11 elections, has reacted harshly to the farce of open lists, calling it a mockery of voters and another dark bargain with Edi Rama.
According to Murrizi, the "fathers and mothers" of electoral reform, the same ones who in July 2024 closed a bargain for 46 parliamentary mandates with Rama, decided that political entities should have 186 candidates each, even though the Assembly only has 140 seats. " The open list should have as many candidates as the region has MPs, minus the number of assholes on the closed list ," says Murrizi.
He takes the Tirana district as an example. According to him, 12 candidates should have been on the closed list and 25 on the open list. But no. There were 37 on the open list. So according to him, the new scheme was a fraud.
" The fathers and mothers of electoral reform, who locked 46 deputies in a bargain with Rama in July 2024, made a fool of themselves by deciding that political entities should have 186 candidates each, when the number of deputies in the Albanian Parliament is 140."
In fact, the open lists in each district should have as many candidates as the number of deputies in the district, minus the number of candidates on the closed list. So, in the Tirana district, out of the 37 deputies in the district, 12 were on the closed list. The open list should have had 25 candidates, not 37.
"This should have been the case in every district, but as it seems from the number of votes that a significant portion of the open lists received, the "leaders" thought it would be more "volume" by introducing blacksmiths, refrigerator technicians, hairdressers, etc., who received 200-300 votes, making the list ridiculous and wanting to give importance to the list of assholes ," he said.
This reaction by Murriz is another alarm signal for the deliberate manipulation of the electoral system, which under the guise of reform and open lists, continues to keep control of parliament and the will of the citizens in the hands of a few people.
